Your information, in plain English

• We collect what we need to plan trips and keep guests safe.
• We never sell your information or share it with advertisers.
• Health and emergency contact details from your application are seen only by us and your trip host.
• Payments run through Stripe. We never see your card number.
• Our public pages use Google Analytics to count visits, only if you click Accept.
• You can ask for a copy of your data, or for us to delete it, any time.

Interest list. Your email, and if you give them, your first name, the trips you're interested in, what you'd pay for a cabin weekend and roughly where you live.

Account. Your name, email and a securely hashed password, or your name and email from Google or Apple if you sign in with them. Anything you add to your profile.

Trip applications. The state you live in, an emergency contact's name and phone number, your answers to the application questions, any dietary, accessibility or medical needs you choose to share, and the version of the code of conduct you accepted.

Bookings. The trips and events you book, your payment status, and refund records. Card details go to Stripe, not to us.

Technical. Session data including IP address and browser type, to keep your account secure.

Always Funday and your trip host see your application and booking. On a trip, other guests see your name. We do not share your application answers with other guests.

Service providers process data for us and may not use it for anything else: Stripe (payments), Neon (database), OVHcloud (hosting), Resend (account and booking emails), VBOUT (list emails), Cloudflare (uploaded images), and Google or Apple if you sign in with them. Google also receives site usage data through Google Analytics if you accept it, as described under Cookies. We share only what's needed with lodging and activity providers for your trip, such as guest names.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and your account secure. No advertising cookies, and we don't use analytics data for advertising.

Analytics on our public pages. When you visit our public pages (the home page, trips, events, about and policy pages) without being signed in, we ask whether you're okay with Google Analytics. It runs only after you click Accept. If you click No thanks, or don't choose, it never loads. Google Analytics counts visits and where they came from. When it runs, it sets Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and receives your IP address and browser details. We don't load it on account, application, admin or sign-in pages, or anywhere while you're signed in.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of our public pages. You can also block cookies for alwaysfunday.com or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Account and booking records are kept while your account is active and as long as tax and accounting rules require after that. We delete emergency contact and medical details once they're no longer needed for the trip. You can leave the interest list any time.

Edit most of your information in your account settings. To get a copy of your data or have it deleted, email legal@alwaysfunday.com. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live.

Always Funday is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
